For 15 months every Methodist District in Wales is leading a creative and imaginative prayer month. In September it is Welshpool & Bro Hafren’s turn and during the month our church will be involved in:
Every Monday, there will be prayers just before 10am and again at 12 noon.
Every Thursday, from 12 until 1pm – Prayers followed by Picnic, as follows:
Thursday 5th – led by Rev Bill – “Listening for God in the Silence”
Thursday 12th – led by Derek – focus on the Bible
Thursday 19th – led by Gordon and Janice – focus on the news of the day – local, national, international
Thursday 26th – led by Karen – focus on children and young people
Prayer Walks
Saturday 28th – a walk in the countryside, with prayer at beginning and end and at various points along the way
Monday morning 30th – a walk around our town, with prayer stops along the way.
Throughout the month, there will be a Prayer Space in church, with a Prayer Wall.
