Last Sunday, following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, provision was made for contributions to be collected then, and during the coming days, in response to the appeal launched by the Disasters Emergency Committee.
February’s movie will be screened at 2pm on Wednesday 1st. The film this month is “Anna Karenina”, adapted by Tom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy’s novel, and is ‘an epic story of love’ starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law. As always, there is no charge and all are welcome.
