We will be welcoming Revd Dr John Bell to Welshpool next weekend, 9th and 10th November. On Saturday afternoon at 2pm, he will be speaking on the theme: “Singing our Way into or out of Belief – how songs, traditional and contemporary, shape popular theology”, and on Sunday morning he will preach at the Churches Together…

Jubilate’s Supper Concert was a great success, with an appreciative audience enjoying the singers’ performances of the “Top Ten” of their repertoire, joining in a Singalong of songs from “South Pacific”, and a ‘Ploughman’s and Puds’ Supper during the interval. £435 was raised for church funds.

During the month of September, as part of the Synod’s Prayer Initiative, the church was open each day for Prayer and Reflection, and comments from the Visitors’ Book showed that this was much appreciated. We have decided to make our Prayer Space and Prayer Wall permanent features and to keep our church open each day.
