Following an inspection by a Powys County Council Environmental Health Officer on 13th October, the church has retained its top rating, grade 5, for Food Safety and Hygiene, so why not come and enjoy a Saturday Lunch with us – 1st and 3rd Saturdays in the month, from 11am until 2pm, with the offer of a £4.50 Lunch Deal.

The church’s bakers are busy planning what they are going to make for their annual ‘100 Cakes Sale’ which takes place on Saturday morning 14th July. Coffee and tea will be served to customers, and all proceeds will be used for transporting the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoeboxes to children in poorer parts of the world.
Jigsaw Sound, a mixed voice choir of over 50 voices from Shrewsbury, presented an enjoyable and varied programme of songs for the church’s Summer Serenade on Saturday 9th June. The concert was well attended and raised over £300 for the Shrewsbury Food Hub (the charity chosen by the singers) and for church funds.
We are holding a Coffee morning and Cake Stall at the Methodist Church on Saturday 9th June from 9-30 till 12-00. To raise funds to support Christians Against Poverty. Welshpool Methodist Church run money management courses through out the year. Come and support us in our work.
