The mid-week Movie chosen for March, to be screened on Wednesday 1st at 2pm, is a colourful and lively film version of the the popular Lloyd Webber musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” There is no charge for admission or interval refreshments.

Last Sunday, following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, provision was made for contributions to be collected then, and during the coming days, in response to the appeal launched by the Disasters Emergency Committee.   

February’s movie will be screened at 2pm on Wednesday 1st. The film this month is “Anna Karenina”, adapted by Tom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy’s novel, and is ‘an epic story of love’ starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law. As  always, there is no charge and all are welcome.

Two events in December, Carol Singing in the street on Saturday 10th and Coffee and Carols on Monday morning 19th, raised the excellent sum of £500 for Action for Children.
