The film chosen for showing on Wednesday 4th May is “Julie and Julia”, starring Meryl Streep. This is a true story, based on the lives of two very different American women – Julia, Cordon Bleu trained, who published her own cookery book, and Julie, a call centre worker, who decided to cook every recipe in Julia’s book in 12 months, and write a blog about it. The film starts at 2pm. Admission and interval drinks are free.
